King of Kings Lutheran Church

Congregations and community members are warmly invited to attend the 2026 Northland Lutheran Arts & Music Festival at King of Kings Lutheran Church. Centered on the theme “Holy, Holy, Holy!”—inspired by the beloved hymn by Reginald Heber—the festival gathers voices and creative gifts from Lutheran congregations across the Northland for a joyful celebration of faith.

Enjoy an evening of sacred music featuring a combined All-Circuit Choir, congregation choirs, small ensembles, and instrumentalists, while also exploring a curated visual art exhibition reflecting on God’s holiness, sacred spaces, and the blessings He gives to His people.

Call for Artists

Artists are invited to contribute new, original visual works inspired by the festival theme “Holy, Holy, Holy!”

The visual arts provide a meaningful way to reflect on the Gospel and experience God’s work in our world. Art allows viewers to encounter faith through the eyes of another and to appreciate more deeply the blessings God gives. It also helps the artist grow spiritually while meditating on God’s Word.

  • The holiness of God Himself
  • The holiness given to us through Christ
  • Sacred places set apart for God’s presence or purposes

Exhibition open to all creators who confess the Trinity as described in the Nicene Creed. King of Kings will be curating the exhibition to be consistent with the historic Christian faith and the stated theme.

  • Collective or collaborative work will only be accepted in the Junior or Open categories
  • A scholarship of $350 is available for the top artist in each the High School and College artist categories. Artwork will be judged by a panel.
