"And I tell you, everyone who acknowledges Me before men,
the Son of Man also will acknowledge before the angels of God." Luke 12:8
Youth Confirmation
Confirmation ministry at King of Kings allows young people to study God’s Word and faith teachings of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Over the course of three years, our Confirmation program works to prepare each student to confess their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
This middle-school ministry is for students in 6th-8th grades and focuses on Biblical teachings, the Small Catechism and encourages students to build a strong relationship with Christ that will continue throughout their lives. The final year of Confirmation (8th grade) culminates in participation with a faith project in the spring, and Confirmation on the first Sunday in May.
Confirmation ministry engages students through Sunday morning and mid-week instruction, participation in various church ministries, sermon reports, mentoring by members of our congregation and through regional LCMS weekend retreats. The ministry is reinforced through our Junior Youth group activities that offer fun, service and fellowship events each month.
