Senior Youth

(Grades 9-12)

King of Kings high schoolers gather regularly to grow in faith, serve their church and community and spread the good news of Jesus. Led by Amanda Reichers, a young professional and life-long Lutheran who loves to give back to our youth. Amanda really connects to high-schoolers as they talk faith, life and relationships. Senior Youth ministry includes:

• Sunday morning fellowship and Bible study
• Monthly group activities
• LCMS District retreats
• LCMS Youth Gathering (national)
• Community service opportunities
• Opportunities for Christian leadership

Senior Youth Bible Study

Meets each Sunday at 9:30am in the Youth Room on the lower level. This study offers our high schoolers a time of fellowship and short Bible study. Come join us!

Youth Gatherings

2025 National Youth Gathering New Orleans, LA Twenty-five youth and seven chaperones from King of Kings made the trek to New Orleans in 2025 for the National Youth Gathering. From spotting crocodiles in the morning to joining with 5,000 other high schoolers for Bible Study and capping our night off with high energy music and speakers—the conference impacted our youth and over 20,000 other high schoolers from across our nation in an incredible faith-affirming week to remember.

2022 Youth Gathering Houston, Texas July 9-13, 2022 We sent fifteen teens and 5 adults to spend the week with 20,000 other Lutheran high-schoolers in Houston, Texas. Daily Bible studies, mass events, community service and LOTS OF FUN was shared learning and growing in faith, friendship and THE WORD at this incredible week-long conference that is just for teens.
