We are delighted that you want to take the next step in your faith journey and interested in calling King of Kings your church home. Membership to King of Kings is available through our Foundations class and Confession of Faith or by transfer from another LCMS church.
Baptism for New Believers
Whether infant, child or adult – holy baptism is God's way of bringing you into His church. Adults who are ready to receive the blessings of holy baptism should first attend our Foundations class. At the conclusion of class, you can elect to be baptized and join the church through Confession of Faith. Infants and children can be baptized with their parents at this same time. Foundations Class
An Introduction to the Lutheran Faith
We ask that all those interested in adult baptism or church membership attend our Foundations class to gain a deeper understanding of the Lutheran faith and meet other new members. The 8-week class is a simple introduction to the Lutheran faith: what we believe and why we believe it. You will gain insight to how members of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod live out the gospel and an understanding to the central doctrines we believe.
The class meets Sunday mornings during the education hour, beginning at 9:30am. At the end of the class, attendees are invited to be baptized and/or join the King of Kings congregation through Confession of Faith.

Membership through Confession of Faith
Jesus said, “everyone who confesses me before men, I will confess before My Father in heaven” (Matthew 10). Pathway to membership for adults new to the Lutheran faith starts by attending our Foundations class and leads to a Confession of Faith.
Confession of Faith, also known as adult confirmation, is done during a worship service of your choosing. You will answer and agree to a few questions regarding our faith in front of God and the congregation. Our pastors will then "extend to you the right hand of fellowship and love, acknowledge you as a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church and invite you to receive the Lord’s Supper and participate in all the other blessings of salvation which God has given to his Church."
At the conclusion of your Confession of Faith, you will be added to membership at King of Kings, become a member of the LCMS and participate in Holy Communion.
Membership by Transfer
If you are a member at another LCMS church and would like to make King of Kings your new church home, simply request that your membership be transferred to King of Kings at address below. Once transfer is received, we will assign an elder and set up an appointment to meet with one of our pastors.
You are also welcome and encouraged to attend our Foundations class to enrich and refresh your faith in the Lutheran teachings and meet other new members to the congregation.
