Join us for Holy Week as we contemplate Jesus' journey to the cross,
and then celebrate His resurrection on Easter morning.


Palm Sunday | March 24

In-person at 8am and 10:30am (Online at 10:30am)

Holy Week begins with our Palm Sunday service commemorating Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Palm leaves will be blessed and distributed.

 


Holy Thursday  |  March 28

7pm (in-person & online)

Holy (Maundy) Thursday, the night Jesus was betrayed, is a centered around Jesus' command to love one another,  and the Lord's Supper. At the conclusion of worship, the altar is stripped of ornamentation to remind us of Jesus' humility as He is arrested and put on trial.


 

Good Friday  |  March 29

7pm (in-person & online)

On Good Friday, we remember the death of our Lord and Savior and his ultimate sacrifice to rescue us from sin and death. This is moving and solomn service. At the conclusion of worship, parishioners leave in silence.

 


Eggstravaganza   |  March 30

8:30am - 11am

Join us for a morning of Easter fun for children ages 0-12. Our Pancake Brigade will be serving up hot cakes and sausage. Plus there are crafts and a photo op to celebrate and teach the Resurrection of Jesus.

Egg Hunt Schedule*
9:00am: 3 and under
9:30am: Ages 4-7
10:00am: Ages 8-11

This is a free event and open to the community. Freewill donations will be accepted, benefitting a new playground for the Early Learning Center.

*If your child needs to participae in a different age group due to scheduling conflicts, they are welcome to do so.

Easter Sunday   |   March 31

Worship at 7am, 8:30am, 10:30am (Online at 10:30am)

Alleluia, He is risen! He is risen indeed, alleluia! Join us as we celebrate Christ's resurrection. Easter services at King of Kings are traditional, Lutheran worship that include wonderful music, trumpets, Easter hymns, organ music, choral offerings, Scripture readings and prayer. A children's sermon is included in each service with God's Word being taught to our youngest friends. Holy Communion will be celebrated in each Easter service for all confirmed members of an LCMS church. Please speak to a Pastor before service if you are visiting King of Kings and would like to take communion.

Breakfast served 6:30am-10:30am

Come hungry to eat hot biscuits and gravy along with fruit and pastries. A freewill offering will be collected, benefiting Martin Luther Academy.
